About Vicky

Hi, I’m Vicky.  Welcome to Wisefood Nutrition. I created Wisefood Nutrition after years of feeling confused and frustrated by the contradictory information I was coming across around nutrition and exercise.

——

This motivated me to take on full -time, tertiary education in this area and I became an NZQA qualified Clinical Nutritionist in 2012. I take a holistic approach, looking not just at the food, but at you and your individual situation as a whole. Nutrition is an ever evolving industry and I added further professional development in Nutrition, exercise, behaviour and mind body medicine in 2020 making use of our time in lockdown.  In 2022 I completed a certificate in the Psychology of eating, weight and body image through Australian Dietitians Centre for Advance Learning.

I love great conversations, family, food and celebration and believe that we can find the right balance and enjoyment in all these areas. By creating healthy yet delicious food, doing the things we love, getting outside and being active and surrounding ourselves with the right people we can find balance, enjoyment and good health.

What I love about my job is that I get to have great conversations all day, with interesting people,  each with their own unique stories.

I have worked  with many clients in the wellness and weight-loss industry from a variety of different professional  and personal backgrounds. I have a genuine desire to support you in helping to cultivate an attitude of empowerment around diet and lifestyle and preventing what some see as an inevitable decline in health as we get older.

I believe that the work we put in now really counts.

Let me support you with this.

Warmly,
Vicky
