Nutrition Support

I work with a wholefood diet, using everyday foods that can be purchased from the supermarket or health food store. I help you to work with your current diet supporting you towards setting yourself long-term healthy habits that work for you.

Exercise is essential for long term good health.

For many, our lives have become more sedentary, working in front of a computer all day and then coming home so exhausted that all you want to do is sit in front of another screen whether it’s watching TV or scrolling through your phone. To compensate, you may try to spend a few hours in the gym each week, doing hard vigorous workouts or perhaps going for a walk on the weekend only to find that this doesn’t always yield the results you are looking for.

Getting the right balance is important. I will help you to figure out what will fit into your lifestyle and discuss the latest research around the benefits of introducing a variety of different exercises into your weekly routine. Moving regularly supports our body to work efficiently and is important for maintaining long term health. What we do now, counts.

Sleep Support

Good quality sleep is essential to good health. In todays’ environment, many people are not sleeping well. Sleep is often the first area that gets affected when we are under stress. A recent example of this is how many people found their sleep patterns changed during our recent lockdowns.

During sleep, our body repairs and rejuvenates, and disruptions to this process can result in hormonal changes, weight gain, increase in mental stress and many health conditions, increasing inflammation in the body and preventing optimal health. Like sleep, our body’s ability to function at its best is also affected when we are under stress, whether physical or emotional, disrupting our hormonal processes and resulting in conditions such as weight gain or weight loss, inflammation, gut issues and more. Stress can be the number one cause of many chronic health conditions.
